Dez Bryant breaks foot, out 4-6 weeks
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that receiver Dez Bryant has a broken bone in his right foot that will require surgery.
Bryant excited Sunday night’s Cowboys-Giants thriller (a 27-26 Dallas victory) two times throughout the game. Once was for dehydration issues but the second time he had to be helped to the locker room and never returned. Jones said that Bryant will miss the next 4-6 weeks.
The Cowboys hit the road next week when they play the Eagles at 4:25PM ET in Philadelphia. According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Eagles are 3-point home favorites for that matchup while the over/under total is currently sitting at 54.5 points.
With Bryant out, the Cowboys will rely on Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley at the wide receiver position. Jason Witten will also continue to factor into the passing game.
