Tua Tagovailoa (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Tagovailoa popped up on the team’s injury report with a surprise ankle injury, but the fact he was a full participant in practice would suggest there’s little to be concerned about here. Tua and the Dolphins face a tough matchup in Week 13 as they prepare to take on the 49ers, head coach Mike McDaniel’s former team. Playing some of the best ball of his career, Tagovailoa can be treated as a top-12 option despite facing a tough 49ers defense.
San Francisco 49ers DFS Spin
Jimmy Garoppolo completed 26-of-37 passes for 222 yards and one touchdown in the 49ers’ 13-0, Week 12 win over the Saints. Garoppolo didn’t have to be great in this one, but he was solid nonetheless. In a shutout win over the Saints, Jimmy G. came up with several big throws to put the Niners in scoring position, with several passes to wide receiver Jauan Jennings coming on a drive that ended with Jennings hauling in a five-yard score. From a fantasy standpoint, Garoppolo does just enough to be utilized in 2QB and superflex leagues, but he’s hard to trust as anything more than a low-end QB2. Capable of throwing for multiple touchdowns a game at any moment, he’s just as likely to throw for one or fewer scores, which he’s done twice in his last four games. He and the Niners get Dolphins in Week 13.
