Dolphins vs. Browns ATS Prediction
The Browns have won back-to-back games and should make it three straight when they host the 2-8 Dolphins at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. That said, the Browns are laying over 10 points and won’t have a couple of key defenders. Will they cover?

Miami Dolphins Fantasy Spin
Dolphins coach Brian Flores confirmed Ryan Fitzpatrick (shoulder, forearm) will play Week 12 against the Browns. Fitzpatrick hasn’t seen his usual practice reps this week while battling shoulder and forearm injuries, though his status for Week 12 was never in doubt. Even coming off a 300-yard effort against Buffalo in Week 11, Fitzpatrick won’t be a recommended streamer against Cleveland. The well-traveled veteran turns 37 Sunday.
Cleveland Browns Fantasy Spin
Updating an earlier report, Browns coach Freddie Kitchens said David Njoku (wrist) won’t be activated for Week 12 against the Dolphins. Njoku resumed practicing this week, though clearly he hasn’t convinced the coaching staff he’s game-ready. With Njoku headed for another absence—it will be his ninth straight—look for the Browns to employ some combination of Demetrius Harris, Pharaoh Brown, Ricky Seals-Jones and Stephen Carlson at tight end Sunday against Miami.
NFL Betting Trends
Miami
The Dolphins are 5-12 against the spread in their last 17 road games but they’ve covered five of their last six games overall.
Cleveland
The Browns are 7-18-1 against the spread in their last 26 games played in the month of November and are 1-4-1 against the number in their last six games overall.
Prediction
The Dolphins stink but I don’t see how they don’t move the ball enough to stay within 10 points. The Browns won’t have top pass-rusher Myles Garrett after he was suspended the rest of the season after taking Steelers QB Mason Rudolph’s helmet off in a game last Thursday and try to beat him with said helmet. Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi was also suspended for Sunday’s game for his role in the melee and Olivier Vernon is out again with a knee injury. Granted, Cleveland’s secondary is slowly becoming a strength but how much pressure is the front seven going to create? This is one of those hold-your-breath plays, but I do see Ryan Fitzpatrick and Co. coming up with enough plays to cover.
