Miami Dolphins DFS Spin
Jaylen Waddle (oblique) was upgraded to “full” for Thursday’s practice. It removes any lingering doubt as to Waddle’s Week 1 game status. Although Waddle had a poor effort against the Chargers last December, he’s an elite Week 1 option in Sunday’s league-best offensive environment.
Los Angeles Chargers DFS Spin
The Athletic’s Daniel Popper believes Josh Palmer will be the Chargers’ No. 3 wideout to start the season. Palmer, Popper said, “will get a majority of the snaps as that third receiver early in the season.” Presumably this means rookie Quentin Johnston — taken in the first round of the 2023 draft — will be relegated to a rotational role in the regular season’s early going. It’s quite the surprise, and may be related to Johnston’s immense preseason struggles. Palmer is a steady if unexciting option for LA’s offense. If he is indeed the team’s WR3, Johnston won’t be usable for fantasy managers in Week 1 against the Dolphins.

Dolphins vs. Chargers Prediction:
Give me Miami. Everyone remembers when Tua Tagovailoa was healthy early last season, right? The Dolphins were an unstoppable force offensively and were steamrolling towards being the talk of the NFL. Then Tua was injured and while the Dolphins still made the playoffs as a wild card, the team wasn’t the same. With Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle back, this passing game will be one of the best in the league again, provided Tua can stay on the field. Defensively, watch what Vic Fangio does with this front seven: It’s going to be fun. I love Justin Herbert, but the Chargers can never seem to get out of their own way.
