Dolphins vs. Rams Pick
Will the Rams play in yet another low-scoring game this Sunday when they host the Dolphins at 4:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rams are now 1.5-point home underdogs versus the Dolphins after opening as a 1-point favorite. As for the total, the number opened at 41 but has been bet down to 39.5 at most online and Vegas sports books.
DOLPHINS KEY TRENDS: The Dolphins have cashed in four straight games, all of them victories. They’re also 5-0 at the betting window in their last five games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. That said, they’re just 2-9 against the number in their last 11 games versus a team with a losing record and are 1-6 against the number in their last seven games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game.
RAMS KEY TRENDS: The Rams are 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games overall and are 3-10-1 at the betting window in their last 14 games played in Week 11. On the flip side, they’re 7-2-1 against the spread in their last 10 home games versus an opponent with a winning road record and are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game.

OUR PREDICTION: Former No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff will get his first NFL start this Sunday, replacing the ineffective Case Keenum. There’s a high probability Goff isn’t ready, but the Rams couldn’t keep rolling a hapless Keenum out there when other rookies Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz are having success in their first years. Goff should also struggle to move the Rams’ offense, however. The team’s offensive line is putrid, they have no running game and while Kenny Britt is quietly having a good season, Goff doesn’t have a game-changer at receiver to throw to. The Rams defense will keep the team in the game, but this one should be low-scoring throughout.
