Miami Dolphins DFS Spin
Tua Tagovailoa completed 23-of-33 passes for 270 yards and one touchdown in the Dolphins’ 20-7, Week 1 win over the Patriots. Tua’s lone touchdown was a 42-yard hookup to Jaylen Waddle where Waddle split the defense up the middle at the end of the first half. Miami never really ever came close to scoring again on offense in this one. Tua did complete over 69% of his passes at 8.2 YPA, but it’s hard to love him in fantasy in a run-based, get-it-out-quick passing offense. Tagovailoa will be a QB2/3 next week on the road against the Ravens.
Baltimore Ravens DFS Spin
Lamar Jackson completed 17-of-30 pass attempts for 230 yards and three touchdowns in the Ravens 24-9 Week 1 win against the Jets. Jackson was far from sharp against a poor New York secondary that continually allowed Baltimore wideouts to get behind them. Two long touchdowns painted over an otherwise middling outing for Jackson, who totaled 17 rushing yards on six carries. The Ravens offense appeared stale and predictable for much of this game; it could be an issue against stiffer competition. Perhaps Jackson would have recorded more rushing production if the game had been competitive in the second half. He’ll be a high-end QB1 in Week 2 against Miami.

Dolphins vs. Ravens Prediction:
The Dolphins failed to cover in nine of their previous 10 games versus the Ravens and are just 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five road games when facing an opponent with a winning record. On the other side, the Ravens have covered in eight of their previous 11 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous contest and are 9-3 against the spread in their last 11 games versus a team with a winning record.
