SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – The Seattle Seahawks aren’t known for having big playmakers at receiver, but Doug Baldwin could be under the radar for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Baldwin has been given an over/under of 50.5 receiving yards for Sunday’s game. His over/under for receptions has been set at 4 and his odds of scoring a touchdown has been set at +155. The Seahawks will face the Packers on Sunday at 3:05PM ET on FOX in the NFC Championship Game.
Baldwin put up the best numbers of his four-year career this season in Seattle. Baldwin caught a career-high 66 passes for a career-high 825 yards. He only scored three times, while averaging 12.5 yards per catch. In last week’s playoff win over the Panthers, Baldwin finished with three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. In the season opener against the Packers, Baldwin tallied three receptions for 14 yards and no scores.
Baldwin has had at least 51 receiving yards in six games this season and he has had at least four receptions in nine different games. Baldwin has only scored in four different games throughout the season. The Seahawks will be going up against a respectable pass defense on Sunday in Green Bay. The Packers are 10th in the NFL against the air, allowing just 226.4 yards per game.
