Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
The Eagles are 12-1 and absolutely rolling this season. The man at the center of it all is Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts has thrown for 3,157 yards, 22 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions on the season. He’s also run for 686 yards and 10 touchdowns this year. He would be a terrific DFS play against a Bears defense that’s allowing 7.5 yards per pass attempt this season, a mark that ranks 30th in the league.
The Eagles have also been able to pound the ball on the ground with running back Miles Sanders this year. Sanders is one of only three running backs in the league this year with 1,000 yards rushing and a per-carry average of 5 yards or more. He went off against the Giants last week for 144 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and could be in for another big day against the Bears on Sunday.
Chicago Bears DFS Spin
Chicago wide receiver Chase Claypool and running back David Montgomery both missed practice on Thursday. Claypool has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with a knee injury and Montgomery is officially listed as probable for this weekend’s contest after recovering from an illness.
Bears QB Justin Fields had one of his better statistical games against the Packers two weeks ago, throwing for a season-high 254 yards while adding 71 rushing yards and a touchdown. He may be forced to throw the ball if Philadelphia jumps out to a sizable lead on Sunday, which could lead to some big numbers that would be helpful for DFS purposes.
Eagles vs. Bears Betting Trends
Philadelphia is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following an outright win.
Philadelphia is 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games in December.
Chicago is 6-21 ATS in their last 27 games against the NFC.
Chicago is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games against teams with a winning record.
Eagles vs. Bears Prediction:
The Philadelphia Eagles have the best record in football, and they’ve played like the best team in the entire league all season. Philly is ranked in the top five in the NFL in yards per play, opponent yards per play, points per play margin, and yards per point margin. They’ve also recorded 6 wins of 10 points or more on the season. I think the Eagles make it 7 double-digit wins when they head to Chicago to face the Bears on Sunday. I’ll lay the points with the Eagles.
