Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Eagles DT Fletcher Cox (back) is not expected to miss more than one game after epidural injection. Cox has been experiencing discomfort in his back over the past couple weeks. The epidural injection procedure he underwent this week aims to decrease the pain with the expectation that he will miss not more than one game, if any. If he cannot go in Week 5 against the Rams, Cox expects to return Week 6 against the Jets.

Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin

Rams HC Sean McVay said he doesn’t expect Cooper Kupp to be on a snap count in Week 5 against the Eagles. According to McVay, Kupp is “very comfortable” and looked like his normal self in practice. McVay said the team still wants to be smart with Kupp’s injury, but he doesn’t anticipate a snap count if everything is going well with his star receiver. McVay has already said Kupp will play this week, which should be enough for fantasy managers to fire him up as a high-end WR2, who could very easily surprise with a top-12 week in his return.

Philadelphia is 9-1 SU in its last 10 games on the road

The Eagles are 7-1 SU in their last 8 games

The total has gone OVER in 5 of LA Rams’s last 6 games at home

LA Rams is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games at home

Eagles vs. Rams Prediction:

Give me the Eagles. I think this is where we start to see the Rams’ season turn for the worse. Given their lack of talent on defense (save for Aaron Donald, of course), their start this season has been impressive. That said, Matthew Stafford suffered a hip contusion in the team’s win over the Colts last week. He has played very well but we saw what happened a year ago when he started to get banged-up. His offensive line hasn’t been great and Philly’s pass rush is relentless.

Speaking of the Eagles, they’ve gone three straight games with 400-plus yards of total offense. They own a NFL-high 13 games with 400 yards of offense since the start of 2022 and they’re 12-1 when they total 400 or more yards. Jalen Hurts, meanwhile, has won 10 straight regular season road games as a starter. An 11th road victory would tie the fourth-longest streak in the Super Bowl era. I see him accomplishing that feat today.

Eagles vs. Rams NFL Prediction: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES -4
