Patriots vs. Ravens Injury Report
FOXBOROUGH, MA (The Spread) – The New England Patriots are favored to get past the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday in the playoffs, but will Tom Brady be without some of his top targets?
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, New England is the favorite at home, as the Patriots are getting odds of -7 points against the Ravens. The over/under total for this game has been set at 47.5 points (View Matchup). This game will take place on Saturday at 4:35PM ET and air on NBC.
When breaking down the key injuries to the Patriots, you look at receiver, where both Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell are listed as questionable. LaFell is dealing with a foot injury while Edelman has a head injury. The two are Brady’s leading receivers outside of Rob Gronkowski, as they have combined for 166 receptions for 1,925 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Pats also have to key defensive players questionable in linebacker Dont’a Hightower (shoulder) and cornerback Brandon Browner (groin). Hightower is second on the team in tackles with 89 and he also has six sacks. Browner has six pass deflections and an interception.
The Ravens come into this game rather healthy despite playing last week. The two big questions are for offensive tackle Eugene Monroe and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan. Monroe is questionable to play because of an ankle injury. He has missed the last three games. Jernigan missed last week’s game with a foot injury. He has 23 tackles and four sacks this season.
