Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said he’s managing touches for Falcons veterans, including Cordarrelle Patterson. “There’s a lot of thought put in,” Smith said when asked about Patterson’s usage as a hybrid player. “We do with all our vets. We do what’s best for them. It’s best for the team. That’s where the decision is made with them. It’s a collaborative effort. So some guys at different points in their career, different points of the season … you have to manage it, and you’ve got to do what’s best you think for the players and for your team.” Fantasy managers may have noticed the results of said load management: Patterson hasn’t played more than half of Atlanta’s offensive snaps since Week 9 while Mike Davis’ playing time has increased in recent weeks. C-Patt has unfortunately been turned into the team’s between-the-tackles grinder, totaling 45 carries over the team’s past three games but seeing a meager 12 targets over that span. Davis in Week 14 against the Panthers saw 11 rushes, his most since Week 5. Patterson, among the most important waiver adds of 2021, is still a low-end RB despite his reduced pass-catching role.

George Kittle (knee) was not given an injury designation for Week 15 against the Falcons. Kittle opened the week with a DNP due to some knee soreness, but he practiced in full Friday and was left off the final report. On a hot streak with a 22/332/3 line over his last two games, Kittle is obviously an elite option against the Falcons.
Bengals vs. Broncos Betting Prediction
The underdog is 5-2 against the spread in the last seven meetings between these two teams while the road team has also covered in five of the last seven meetings. The Falcons, meanwhile, are 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games and are 7-3 against the number in their last 10 games played in the month of December. On the other side, the 49ers are 16-34-1 against the spread in their last 51 games as a home favorite, are 5-11 against the number in their last 16 games as a favorite and are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games.
