Marcus Mariota completed 13-of-14 attempts for 129 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ 28-14, Week 6 win over the 49ers, adding six rushes for 50 yards and one touchdown. Mariota beat the defense to the corner for his rushing score. His two TDs went to his tight ends, the first to MyCole Pruitt and the second to Kyle Pitts. Mariota only threw for 129 yards, but he had an impressive 9.2 yards per attempt, he was simply not asked to do much as a passer in this game. With the Falcons never trailing in this game and benefitting from a defensive TD, Mariota captained an extremely run-heavy offense. The Falcons can be expected to play ball control once again when they take on the Bengals in Week 7.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said that Ja’Marr Chase (hip) will play in Week 7 against the Falcons. Chase had two limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday but wasn’t listed on the final injury report after getting in a full session on Friday. Ultimately his hip injury wasn’t too much of a concern for Cincinnati’s coaching staff. Chase will be a WR1 against a Falcons defense allowing 26.4 fantasy points per game to wideouts, sixth-highest in the NFL.
