Atlanta Falcons DFS Spin
Falcons placed Kyle Pitts (knee) on injured reserve. Pitts is expected to be out for an indefinite amount of time after an MRI on Monday revealed a torn MCL that’s likely to require surgery. Now on injured reserve, he’s required to miss at least four games, but there’s a chance his absence extends beyond the four-game minimum. Tight end Parker Hesse is second among Falcons tight ends in snaps (410) and routes run (89) and could be the first in line to replace Pitts. It should go without saying that Hesse can be left on the waiver wire.
Washington Commanders DFS Spin
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Washington could hold out EDGE Chase Young (questionable, knee) another week. Young was activated from IR this week but was limited in practice all three days. The Commanders are more likely to rest Young for another week than rush him back, according to Fowler, who puts Young’s odds of playing at less than 50 percent. Coach Ron Rivera said that Young would only play 10-15 snaps if active.
