Forte, Jeffery both questionable for Bears
Running back Matt Forte and receiver Alshon Jeffery are both listed as questionable for the Bears’ game against the Packers on Thanksgiving night.
Forte is dealing with a knee injury and Jeffery is battling both a shoulder and groin injuries, which held him out of Chicago’s loss to Denver last Sunday. Both are fully expected to play, although Forte might split carries with rookie Jeremy Langford, who has impressed as the workhorse back for the Bears.
In related news, Martellus Bennett has been ruled out for tomorrow night’s game with a ribs injury. He played through the issue last Sunday and got in a limited practice session on Tuesday of this week, but the Bears have decided to hold him out on a short week.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Bears are currently an 8.5-point road underdog versus the Packers for Thursday night’s 8:30PM ET kickoff. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 45 points.
