Gore unsure if he’ll play vs. Rams
ST. LOUIS, MO (The Spread) – Colts running back Frank Gore is reportedly unsure if he’ll play Saturday night when Indianapolis visits St. Louis at 8:00PM ET.
When asked about what he would say if Colts coach Chuck Pagano left the decision of whether or not to play versus the Rams up to him, Gore told reporters: “Then I would go to Andrew Luck and see what he wants.”
Colts.com reporter Kevin Bowen writes that “Gore didn’t lean one way or another on whether he will play on Saturday night in St. Louis.” Bowen also notes that Gore doesn’t need the reps after totaling just 13 carries over the last four preseasons, and it might be a “blessing” if the Colts had an opportunity to give more first-team reps to Vick Ballard and Josh Robinson.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Colts are 2.5-point road underdogs versus the Rams while the over/under total is currently sitting at 42.5 points.
