Oakland has an underrated squad that has a solid young quarterback in Derek Carr and a decent backup in Christian Ponder. Their defense has improved and St. Louis has not shown much of an inclination to win the preseason. They’ve won just twice in the last two preseasons. Jeff Fisher can’t afford to risk Nick Foles by playing him more than a series.
