That said, the spread appears to be climbing to Atlanta -6 at several online and Vegas sports books. While 6 isn’t a traditional number in football (normally bettors worry about 3, 7, 10 and 14), given the amount of extra points that are missed, it has become more significant over the last two seasons. Plus, six is now the winning margin of some overtime games, so if you like the Falcons, there is better value to have them at -5.5 instead of -6.
