Jacksonville Jaguars DFS Spin
ESPN’s Michael DiRocco believes Travis Etienne will lead the Jaguars backfield out of the gate regardless of James Robinson’s status. The Jaguars are expected to bring Robinson along slowly. DiRocco also says that even if Robinson is cleared to play in the opener, Etienne will lead the way early on in the season. As the season moves on, however, DiRocco expects Robinson to get more of his normal workload. DiRocco believes that while Etienne has been an effective runner in between the tackles, the Jags want to use him on pass routes out of the backfield and also line him up out wide. As the season goes on and Robinson gets better, expect the Jags to use both backs in different ways.
Atlanta Falcons DFS Spin
Drake London (knee) remains sidelined at Falcons practice. Coach Arthur Smith said 11 days ago that London’s knee injury was “not a long-term thing,” but it has definitely become a short-term thing. The Falcons, of course, have zero incentive to rush the No. 8 overall pick at this stage of the game, so we will assume it is mere caution. There are still 17 days between now and the Falcons’ opener. We feel comfortable keeping London in the WR3/4 mix.

Jaguars vs. Falcons Prediction:
Whether it’s Marcus Mariota or Desmond Ridder, the Falcons’ quarterbacks have played well this preseason. Atlanta failed to cover on the road earlier this week in New Jersey when it took on the Jets, but the Falcons rolled to a big lead and had an opportunity to cover late with a touchdown but stalled out deep in New York territory. The Jaguars, meanwhile, have not looked sharp this preseason and with this being the first and only home game for the Falcons, I expect them to give whatever crowd shows up today in Atlanta a decent show.
