Jacksonville Jaguars DFS Spin
Zay Jones caught 6-of-8 targets for 109 yards and three touchdowns in the Jaguars’ Week 15 win over the Cowboys. Trevor Lawrence hit Jones on a crossing route for a 5-yard TD in the second quarter. Jones then got wide open down the sideline for a 59-yard bomb in the third quarter. Lawrence hit him again in the end zone in the fourth quarter for a 3-yard score. A week after Evan Engram stepped up against the Titans, Jones carried the Jaguars’ passing offense against the Cowboys. It was an impressive performance against a difficult Cowboys defense. Jones may have passed Christian Kirk as the top wide receiver in the passing game and looks like a FLEX option even in a difficult matchup against the Jets in Week 16.
New York Jets DFS Spin
Zach Wilson will start in Week 16 against the Jaguars. Wilson played well in Week 15 against Detroit, one of the league’s worst coverage units. Subbing in for starter Mike White, Wilson completed 18 of his 35 throws for 317 yards, two touchdowns, and one pick. His mind-numbing inaccuracy on routine passes continued, making him a bad bet to hang on to the starter’s gig when White (ribs) is ready to return. Wilson, for better or worse, is a reasonable streaming option against a Jaguars secondary allowing the NFL’s ninth highest rate of positive pass plays. Rotoworld’s Denny Carter mentioned Wilson, along with other Week 16 streaming options, in his waiver wire column.

However, with Wilson back under center, the Jets don’t figure to score much – even against a bad Jacksonville defense. And while Trevor Lawrence has played well of late, warm weather teams that are forced to play North late in the year tend to struggle. I’ll take the under, which is 7-2 in the Jets’ last nine games overall and has cashed in five of their last seven home games.
