Trevor Lawrence (toe) is questionable for Week 17 against the Texans. Lawrence has played through the questionable tag because of the toe issue in each of the past three weeks. Week 17 should be no different. He was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Lawrence will rank as a low-end QB1 in his matchup with a weak Houston defense.
Houston Texans DFS Spin
Davis Mills completed 17-of-28 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in Houston’s 19-14, Week 16 win over Tennessee, adding four carries for eight yards. Mills led a nice go-ahead drive with a 37-yard target to Amari Rodgers, then found Brandin Cooks for a leaping touchdown in the back of the end zone in the fourth quarter. Everything else he did in the game was varying levels of hilarious or brutal, including a red-zone fumble that Rex Burkhead fell on for a score, a few aborted snap fumbles, several balls that were not even close or late to the target, and his pick in the third quarter to re-tie him with Matt Ryan for the NFL lead. Lovie Smith doesn’t want Mills to throw and it’s not hard to understand why. Mills will put his 2-0 record as a starter against the Jaguars on the line in Week 17 as a desperation superflex.
