JPP won’t show until he can pass physical
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – Jason Pierre-Paul doesn’t plan on showing up to training camp until he can pass his physical.
Pierre-Paul sustained a serious hand injury in a fireworks accident at his home on July 4 of this year. He went on to have his right index finger amputated as a result of the injury.
Ed Weder of ESPN tweeted that despite a conversation between Pierre-Paul and New York GM Jerry Reese, nothing has changed with the defensive end’s status: He won’t sign his tender nor report to camp until he can pass a physical.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Giants are currently 30/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and 18/1 to win the NFC conference championship this season.
