New York Jets DFS Spin
Jets head coach Robert Saleh said the team would not restrict Breece Hall’s workload anymore. Hall appears fully recovered from his 2022 ACL injury and it appears the Jets are ready to let him cut it loose in the coming weeks, starting with a mouth-watering Week 5 matchup against the Broncos. Hall has 32 rushes to 30 for backfield mate Dalvin Cook through the season’s first four weeks. Outside of two long runs in Week 1 against Buffalo, Hall has done precious little with his opportunities. Zach Wilson showing signs of life should be a plus for Hall. Fantasy managers who drafted Hall can play him this week without dry heaving.
Denver Broncos DFS Spin
Denver 7’s Troy Renck reports Broncos RB Jaleel McLaughlin will have a larger workload in Week 5 vs the Jets. The Broncos plan to meet Friday night to make a decision on whether to rule out Javonte Williams (questionable, quad). McLaughlin led the backfield in snaps before Williams went down in Week 4, playing ahead of Williams and Samaje Perine. There are rumors McLaughlin, who has touchdowns in two of Denver’s first four games, could start over Williams even if cleared. McLaughlin’s Week 5 ceiling is high for a favorable matchup with the Jets run defense and his floor gets a bump if Williams sits.

Jets vs. Broncos Prediction:
Take the over. These two teams stink offensively but the Broncos have also allowed a league-high 150 points this season. That’s the most points allowed by a team through five games in the Super Bowl era is 182 (2013 Giants), which puts that number in perspective. For all of Denver’s issues, Russell Wilson’s nine touchdown passes this season are also tied with Josh Allen for second-most in the NFL thus far. He also has six completions of 25-plus yards downfield, which is also tied for the second-most in the NFL with Justin Herbert. So even though the Broncos are finding ways to lose game, Wilson is still pushing the ball downfield and getting it into the end zone. We’ll see if Zach Wilson can live up to his end of the bargain and attack a horrendous Denver defense.
Jets vs. Broncos NFL Prediction: OVER 43.5
