New York Jets DFS Spin
Jets listed WR Corey Davis (hip) doubtful for Week 9 against the Colts. The Jets have a short turnaround this week as their matchup with the Colts comes on Thursday. Davis was always likely to be sidelined for at least another week because of this. Robert Saleh said Davis had a chance to play this week but he has yet to practice meaning there’s no real chance he suits up. He’ll be eying a Week 10 return alongside Zach Wilson. With Davis out, Jamison Crowder projects to lead the New York receivers in targets. He saw nine targets last week and should be considered a WR3/4 in PPR leagues.
Indianapolis Colts DFS Spin
Quenton Nelson (ankle) remained sidelined for Tuesday’s practice. Nelson, downgraded for Tuesday’s walkthrough, is reportedly considered “questionable” to suit up Thursday night. He missed three games on injured reserve with an ankle injury before returning to action in Week 7. His absence would be catastrophic for Carson Wentz’s shaky confidence under duress.
NFL Week 9 Betting Prediction
The over has cashed in seven of the last 10 meetings between these two teams, is 16-5 in the Jets’ last 21 games versus an opponent with a losing record and is 4-0 in New York’s last four games overall. On the other side, the over is 4-1 in the Colts’ last five games overall, is 4-1 in their last five games played in November and is 5-2 in their last seven games in Week 9.
