SuperContest leader once again goes 4-1
The leader in the Westgate Las Vegas NFL Hilton SuperContest stayed hot on Sunday by nailing four of his five picks.
“Rounding Again” went into Week 16 with a first-place record of 53-19-3 in the Las Vegas NFL SuperContest and had gone 4-1 with his picks for three consecutive weeks. Well, make it four straight weeks at 4-1.
By hitting on the Vikings, Jets, Cardinals and Rams, “Rounding Again” finished with a 4-1 record for Week 16 and will hold onto first-place in the Vegas NFL SuperContest. His only miss was the Steelers, who lost outright to the Ravens as a 10-point road underdog. Otherwise, the Rams and Jets both won outright as underdogs, while the Vikings and Cardinals each won blowouts over the Giants and Packers, respectively.
Second-place contestant Michael Andrew had a rough Sunday. Already three wins off “Rounding Again’s” pace, Andrew lost with the Bucs, Titans and Steelers, while also hitting with his selection of the Jets. If the Broncos cover as a 3.5-point favorite versus the Bengals on Monday night then Andrew can salvage his week with two wins, but third-place contestant “DesertCottonTail” will move up in the standings after hitting the Vikings, Lions, Texans and Rams on Sunday. His only miss was the Steelers as well.
