Lions vs. 49ers Same Game Parlay: Will Jahmyr Gibbs have big night for Detroit?

Vikings vs. Lions Same Game Parlay Vikings vs. Lions Same Game Parlay

Will Jahmyr Gibbs have a big night for the Lions when they visit the 49ers on Monday Night Football/ Will Brock Purdy go off from a passing-game standpoint? Read on for our Lions vs. 49ers Same Game Parlay prediction.

Falcons vs. Commanders SGP Recap

It was a close-but-no-cigar situation in last night’s Falcons-Commanders same game parlay. While I cashed Bijan Robinson’s over on his rushing total, as well as Jayden Daniels’ over for rushing yards, I did not hit the Terry McLaurin anytime touchdown to complete the SGP. Daniels threw three touchdown passes on the night, but two went to tight end Zach Ertz (including the game-winner in overtime) and the other went to Olamide Zaccheaus.

Lions vs. 49ers Same Game Parlay: 49ers over 23.5 Points (-116)

The 49ers have been eliminated from postseason contention but Kyle Shanahan’s offense can still move the ball and the Lions still have major defensive problems due to injuries. The Niners’ offense has had issues due to injuries to Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle throughout the season. Brock Purdy also missed a game in Green Bay back in November, so it’s just been a lost year for Shanahan’s team.

That said, we’re not too far removed from the 49ers hanging 38 points on another NFC North team in the Bears. That Week 14 matchup was also at Levi’s Stadium and while the Lions and Bears are night and day as far as direction of the franchise, the fact remains that Detroit still has major defensive issues. The Lions allowed 48 points to the Bills two weeks ago and surrendered 31 points to the Packers in Week 14. They also allowed 20 and 17 points, respectively, to a Bears team that can’t protect the quarterback.

If this game turns into a shootout tonight, I don’t think 24 points is out of reach for the Niners.

Lions vs. 49ers Same Game Parlay: Brock Purdy over 255.5 passing yards (-113)

Isaac Guerendo is expected to play tonight for the 49ers but even still, I expect Kyle Shanahan to lean on his passing game. The Lions force teams to pass at the third-highest rate this season and are still dealing with injuries at linebacker and in their secondary. Over the past month, the Lions have allowed a league-high 8.7 yards per pass attempt.

This has been a down year overall for Purdy and the Niners, but they should be able to get back on track tonight.

Lions vs. 49ers Same Game Parlay: Jahmyr Gibbs over 126.5 Rushing + receiving Yards (-115)

With David Montgomery out with an injury, Gibbs saw a season-high 27 touches last Sunday in the team’s win over the Bears. He produced 154 yards and a touchdown on those touches and is set for another big workload tonight in Santa Clara.

The 49ers have allowed 4.1 yards per carry to running backs (10th), but only have a 59.7% success rate against those backs (28th). They also have allowed over 100 total yards to De’Von Achane, Kyren Williams, James Cook and Josh Jacobs over their past five games. Gibbs is certainly capable of accomplishing what those backs did against a banged-up Detroit defense.

3-Leg Same Game Parlay Odds: +386 (Fanduel Sportsbook)
