Detroit Lions DFS Spin
Jared Goff completed 21-of-29 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions’ 41-10, Week 17 win over the Bears. After this beatdown of the Bears, the Lions put up 72 points on Chicago in their two meetings this year. Goff picked apart the Bears’ horrific secondary in this game, picking up long gains at will. He could have posted better numbers, but the Lions spent most of the second half running the ball and killing the clock. Goff even gave way to backup Nade Sudfeld for the final minutes of the game. Still firmly in the playoff hunt, the Lions will be giving it everything they have versus the Packers next week. However, with Green Bay being one of the worst teams at defending the run, Goff may be in for a low-volume, QB2 outing in Week 18.
Green Bay Packers DFS Spin
Christian Watson (hip) was removed from the Week 18 injury report and will play against the Lions. Watson was limited in practice throughout the week but is to be good to go for Week 18. He played through the injury last week and saw his typical role, though that only resulted in one catch for 11 yards. He will look to rebound in Green Bay’s must-win game versus the Lions this week.

Lions vs. Packers Prediction:
Keep in mind that this selection was made before knowing the outcome of the Rams-Seahawks game at 4:25 p.m. ET. If Seattle wins, then Detroit is eliminated from postseason contention and thus, the Lions will have nothing to play for outside of spoiling the Packers season. That said, we know what’s at stake for Green Bay, which just has to beat Detroit to earn a postseason berth. The home team is 6-0 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams and the Packers have covered in four straight games overall. They’re also 4-1 against the number in their last five conference games and have covered in 13 of their last 19 games coming off an ATS win. Regardless of what happens today in Seattle, I like Green Bay to cover tonight versus Detroit. The Packers are playing their best football of the season.
