Dolphins vs. Rams Prediction
Will the Dolphins pick up their fifth straight win when they visit the Rams this afternoon at 4:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dolphins are now 2-point road favorites after opening as a 1-point underdog earlier in the week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 41 points but has been bet down to 39.5 at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.
Not only have the Dolphins won four straight games they’ve also covered the spread in four consecutive contests. They upset the Steelers as a 7.5-point home underdog, then beat the Bills 28-25 as a 2.5-point home dog, then beat the Jets 27-23 while narrowly covering as a 3.5-point home favorite, then upset the Chargers 31-24 as a 4-point road dog last Sunday.
As for the Rams, they snapped a four-game losing streak with a 9-6 victory against the Jets as a 1-point road favorite last Sunday in East Rutherford. Before that victory, Los Angeles had lost four-straight while also failing to cover the spread in all four of those contests. Despite the win, Jeff Fisher decided to make a change at quarterback, benching Case Keenum for No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff, who will make his pro debut today.

OUR PREDICTION: Grab the Dolphins before the line climbs to a field goal. Miami is hot thanks to a dominant running game that features Jay Ajayi, as well as improved play from quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The defense has also been more consistent than it was at the start of the year and should hassle Goff throughout the day today. The Rams defense will likely keep the team in the game (as they often do), but at some point the damn will break and the Dolphins should cruise to another win and another cover for bettors.
