Bengals vs. Giants Prediction
What’s the best play on the board tonight for bettors when the Giants host the Bengals on Monday Night Football at 8:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Giants are now 1-point home underdogs versus the Bengals after the line opened at New York -2.5. As for the total, the number opened at 47 and has been bet up to 47.5, which is where it currently sits.
BENGALS KEY TRENDS: The Bengals are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games but are 9-3 at the betting window in their last 12 road games. They’re also 12-3-2 against the number in their last 17 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game but are just 0-5-1 against the spread in their last six games versus an opponent with a winning record.
GIANTS KEY TRENDS: The Giants are 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four games but have struggled to cover the number when playing on Monday night, going 1-4 at the betting window in their last five MNF contests. They’re also just 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games versus a team with a losing road record and are 17-35-3 ATS in their last 55 games played in the month of November.

OUR PREDICTION: There is seemingly zero value in the point spread for this game. The Giants have won three straight games so taking them on the money line for a small extra profit is somewhat attractive, but Ben McAdoo’s squad is like most teams in the NFL: Inconsistent. It’s the same for the Bengals, who are 1-2-1 straight up over their last four games. Cincinnati is well rested, but that doesn’t necessarily translate to success.
Thus, the best play on the board tonight is the over. Marvin Lewis’ squad ranks 24th in total yards allowed per game, is 24th in rushing yards allowed, 20th in passing yards allowed, and 18th in points allowed this season. The Bengals offense is still a healthy sixth in total yards per game, fifth in passing and seventh in rushing, however, so they should be able to put up points. Plus, the over is 5-1 in the Giants’ last six home games and is 6-1 in their last seven games played in November. It’ll be close, but the over should hit tonight.
