Chargers vs. Chiefs MNF Odds
(The Spread) – It’s a AFC West battle on Monday Night Football tonight as the Kansas City Chiefs host the San Diego Chargers at 8:30PM ET.
SAN DIEGO: The Chargers let a golden opportunity to reach five wins slip through their grasps last Sunday when they were shutout in the second half by the Jets. The 27-21 loss dropped their record to 4-2 on the year and their ATS record to 2-4. Philip Rivers (1,715) hasn’t looked like the same quarterback this season as in years past while Michael Tolbert (five touchdowns) is expected to miss tonight’s game. Hopefully for Rivers and the Chargers’ sake, having players like Antonio Gates back from injury will help the passing game.
KANSAS CITY: The past three weeks have been great for the Chiefs and their bearded coach. After losing three straight games to open the season, Kansas City has rallied tow win three straight and have a huge opportunity to force a three-way tie in the AFC West if they can win tonight. They’ll need another good outing from running back Jackie Battle (232 yards) and Matt Cassel (1,106), as well as a strong effort from Tamba Hali (4 sacks) and their defense.
