According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Carson Wentz and the Eagles are 4-point home favorites versus the Packers, while the over/under currently sits at 47.5 points. Philadelphia opened as a 3-point favorite before the spread was bet up, while the total opened at 47 points before moving up to 47.5.
PACKERS KEY TRENDS: Green Bay is now 0-6 against the spread in its last six games after allowing more than 30 points in its previous game and is 0-4 at the betting window in its last four games in November. The Packers have fared well as an underdog, however, covering in five of their last seven games as a dog and in five of their last seven games as a road dog.
EAGLES KEY TRENDS: Philadelphia has been an excellent play for bettors when playing on Monday night, going 5-1 against the spread in its last six games on MNF. The Eagles are also a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four home games but are just 1-5 at the betting window in their last six games in November and just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games overall.

OUR PREDICTION: The Eagles have three distinct advantages over the Packers. One, they’re healthier, as Green Bay’s secondary and running back depth chart remain in shambles because of injuries. Two, the Eagles have a significantly better defense, ranking first in DVOA according to Football Outsiders (the Packers, for comparison, rank 18th, which seems high). Finally, they have been a different team at home this year than on the road, where they are a perfect 4-0 at Lincoln Financial Field, with their latest victory coming against the explosive Falcons (the Eagles held Atlanta to just 15 points in that game). The Packers are on a four-game slide, allowing 38.3 points per game during that stretch. Aaron Rodgers has done all he can do during that span and it still hasn’t been enough.
