TEXANS KEY TRENDS: The Texans are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games played in the month of November and are 4-1 against the number in their last five games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. That said, they have struggled with teams with losing records, going 2-5 against the number in their last seven games when taking on an opponent with a winning record. They’re also just 1-8 at the betting window in their last nine Monday night games.

RAIDERS KEY TRENDS: The Raiders are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games versus a team wit a winning record and have covered five of their last seven overall. They’re also 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 games versus AFC opponents but have also struggled on Monday night, going 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 MNF games. They’re also just 10-23-1 against the number in their last 34 games coming off a successful cover in their previous game.

OUR PREDICTION: This should be a high-scoring game for bettors. The over is 5-1 in the Raiders’ last six games overall, is 4-1 in their last five games when playing against AFC foes, and is 4-1 in their last five Monday night games. The Raiders are averaging 27.2 points per game and are allowing 24.8 per contest, as they rank fifth in the NFL in total yards, fifth in passing and four in rushing, but are 30th defensively in total yards, 31st in passing yards allowed, and 25th in rushing yards allowed. Brock Osweiler has struggled mightily in his first season with the Texans, but they should be able to score over their 17.9 PPG average tonight and contribute to the over.
