SB50 spread drops to 5 in Vegas

After the line stayed steady at 5.5 throughout the week, multiple sports books in Las Vegas have dropped the Super Bowl 50 point spread down to 5.

The Westgate Superbook, the Wynn LV and Stations Casinos have all dropped the line from 5.5 to 5 in favor of the Panthers. The MGM Mirage and William Hill, meanwhile, have kept Carolina at -5.5.

As for the online sports books, BetDSI, Bet Online, Bookmaker and Sportsbook all list the Panthers at -5.5, while RealBet.eu has held steady at Carolina -6 since last week. Mybookie is the only online sports book that we list on our NFL Football Betting Odds page that has dropped the spread to 5.

As for the total, all sports books in Vegas and online have dropped the over/under to either 44.5 or 44, down from the opening number of 45. Some books had been reluctant to drop the total from 45, but apparently oddsmakers got enough respected money to finally move off that number.
