Packers vs. Broncos Odds
Two unbeaten football teams collide in NBC Sunday Night Football as the Denver Broncos host the Green Bay Bay Packers at 8:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Green Bay is favored on the road, as the Packers are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Broncos. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45.5 points. Green Bay has won and covered the spread in three straight meetings with the Broncos. These two have hit the over in five of their last seven meetings.
Green Bay is 6-0 on the season, 5-1 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. The Packers are coming off their bye week but they beat the Chargers 27-20 at home prior to that. Green Bay is now averaging 27.3 points and 364.2 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing a league-best 16.8 points per contest and 355 yards per game. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 1,491 yards and 15 touchdowns to lead the offense while James Jones has 21 receptions for 424 yards and six touchdowns. The Green Bay defense is led by Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers, who have a combined 10 sacks.
Denver is 6-0 on the year, 4-2 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. The Broncos are also coming off their bye, but they beat the Browns 26-23 in OT prior to that. Denver has had their last three wins come by six points or less. Denver has one of the best defenses in the NFL, as it is second in scoring (17 ppg allowed) and first in total defense (281.3 yards per game allowed). They also have the league’s top passing defense (192.2 ypg). However, the offense has struggled, averaging just 23.2 points and 325.8 yards per game. Peyton Manning has thrown for 1,524 yards and seven touchdowns, but has 10 interceptions. Emmanual Sanders and Demaryius Thomas each have 527 receiving yards as well. The defense is led by DeMarcus Ware and Malik Jackson, who have a combined 8.5 sacks.
