Packers vs. Falcons Prediction
Will the Packers pull off the upset in Atlanta today at 3:05PM ET when they visit the Falcons for the 2017 NFC Championship Game?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Falcons are now 6-point home favorites versus the Packers after opening as a 5-point favorite early this week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 59.5 and has been bet up between 60.5 and 61.5, depending on which sports book you view.
Bet the 2017 NFC Championship Game
GREEN BAY KEY TRENDS: The Packers have covered in four of their last five trips to Atlanta, including earlier this season when they fell to the Falcons 33-32 as a 3-point underdog. They’re also 4-1 against the spread in their last five conference championship games, are 4-0 against the number in their last four games overall, and are 5-0 at the betting window in their last five games played in the month of January.
ATLANTA KEY TRENDS: The Falcons have covered in five of their last six conference games, are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall, and are 8-3 at the betting window in their last 11 games coming off a win. That said, they’re just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games played in January and 1-6 at the betting window in their last seven playoff games.

OUR PREDICTION: The Packers are banged-up on both sides of the ball. Even if Jordy Nelson (ribs) and Davante Adams (ankle) play, they’re both dealing with significant injuries and won’t be 100-percent. Their secondary is also banged-up, which is a problem when facing the No. 1 scoring offense in the NFL, led by MVP-favorite Matt Ryan. But oddsmakers are going to give you 6 points with Aaron Rodgers? I’ll gladly take the points in what will ultimately be a shootout today at the Georgia Dome. This game could come down to the wire and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Packers led late before the Falcons mounted a comeback. Either way, Atlanta’s defense isn’t good enough to slow down Rodgers for four quarters and banged-up or not, the Pack have a chance to win this game outright.
