PHILADELPHIA, PA (The Spread) – The Redskins will put first place in the NFC East back on the line when they visit the Eagles at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. Let’s check out the odds.
WASHINGTON: Whether it’s RGIII or Kirk Cousins under center, the Redskins just keep on winning. Following their 38-21 victory over the Browns last Sunday, Washington has now won five straight games. Cousins completed 26-of-37 passes for 329 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in his first NFL start. He also rushed three times for 22 yards while showing his mobility. Alfred Morris rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries while Pierre Garcon added six catches for 65 yards receiving and Lenard Hankerson caught both of his receptions for touchdowns. The win improved Washington’s record to 8-6 overall and lifted the Redskins into first place in the NFC East. But with Dallas and New York also sitting at 8-6, Washington needs to keep winning if it wants to clinch one of the top four spots in the NFC playoff picture.

Jeremy Maclin caught four passes for 73 yards while Jason Avant finished with three catches for 44 yards. The loss dropped Philadelphia to 4-10 overall and 3-10-1 against the spread as the Eagles have now failed to cover in seven of their last nine games.
