Browns vs. Steelers Odds
Two AFC North rivals meet up on Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cleveland Browns at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Pittsburgh is favored at home, as the Steelers are getting odds of -5 points against the Browns. The over/under total for the game has been set at 41.5 points. Pittsburgh has won four of its last five against Cleveland, covering the spread in three of those five games. These two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings.
Cleveland is 2-7 on the season, 4-5 against the spread and 7-2 with the over. The Browns are coming off a 31-10 loss at Cincinnati last week. They have lost four straight games coming into this week. The Browns are averaging 19.7 points and 335.1 yards per game on offense, while the defense is giving up 27.4 points and 401.6 yards per contest. Josh McCown has thrown for 1,897 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Travis Benjamin is the leading receiver with 41 catches for 623 yards and four touchdowns. Karlos Dansby is leading the defense with 73 tackles and two interceptions.
Pittsburgh is 5-4 on the year, 5-3-1 against the spread and 7-2 with the under. Pittsburgh is coming off a 38-35 win over the Raiders last week to snap a two-game losing streak. The Steelers are averaging 22.9 points and 376.7 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing 20.2 points and 374.7 yards per game. Pittsburgh is again without Ben Roethlisberger for this game due to an injury. Landry Jones will have to start in his place. He has thrown for 456 yards and three touchdowns this year. DeAngelo Williams has run for 480 yards and five touchdowns while filling in for Le’Veon Bell. Antonio Brown is the leading receiver with 69 catches for 1,002 yards and three scores. Antwon Blake is leading the defense with 57 tackles and two interceptions.
