Ravens vs. Bengals Breakdown
The Pittsburgh Steelers may have taken the Baltimore Ravens lightly last week. Will the Cincinnati Bengals make the same mistake in today’s season finale?
According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Cincinnati is favored heavily at home, as the Bengals are getting odds of -10 points against the Ravens. The over/under total for this game has been set at 41.5 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on FOX.
The Bengals (11-4, 12-2-1 ATS) have already locked up the AFC North and still have a shot at a first-round bye in the playoffs with a win today against the Ravens (5-10, 4-9-2 ATS), who snapped a three-game losing streak with last week’s upset of the Steelers. The public betting for this game is backing the Bengals at home, as Cincinnati is getting 62 percent of the wagers with a 10-point spread. Cincinnati won the first meeting this season, 28-24 in Baltimore back on Sept. 27. Cincinnati has now won and covered the spread in four straight against the Ravens. The Bengals are also 5-1 ATS in their last 6 while Baltimore is just 3-4-1 ATS in its last eight.
The Bengals will continue to be without Andy Dalton, who has a broken thumb, but could be ready for the playoffs. A.J. McCarron has played somewhat well in his absence, throwing for 694 yards with 4 TDs and 2 INTs. Cincy may get TE Tyler Eifert back this week. He has missed the last few games while dealing with a concussion. Eifert has 12 TD receptions this season. The Ravens have their own issues for this game as they will start Ryan Mallett for the second time. He is the fourth starter this year for the Ravens. He led Baltimore to the win over Pittsburgh last week by going 28 of 41 passing for 274 yards with 1 touchdown.
