Dolphins vs. Bills Total Pick
Is the under a good bet when the Buffalo Bills host their AFC East rivals the Miami Dolphins at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday?
Game Info
Matchup: Dolphins (6-7) at Bills (7-6)
TV: CBS, 1:00 p.m. ET
Line: Bills -3
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under currently sits at 39 points after hitting the board at 38.5. The Bills, meanwhile, are now 3-point home favorites to beat the Dolphins, who opened as 4-point road underdogs.
PUBLIC BETTING: As of this writing, 51% of the betting tickets are on the Dolphins to cover the spread but 65% of the money is on the Bills.
INJURY REPORT: Andre Branch is probable for the Dolphins but Jermon Bushrod (knee) is questionable. Both Ja’Wuan James (hamstring) and Nate Allen (calf) remain out.
For the Bills, quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) is probable after missing last week’s game. Kelvin Benjamin (knee), John Miller (ankle), Cordy Glenn (foot) and Leonard Johnson (knee) are all questionable.
OUR PREDICTION: While Sunday isn’t supposed to produce blizzard-like conditions like the Bills had last week in their matchup with the Colts, the under is still a good bet this week in Buffalo. Miami is coming off a short week of rest and preparation, plus, even though this is a divisional game for the Dolphins, I’m banking on a letdown after they beat the Patriots on Monday night.
For the Bills, Taylor coming back is nice but no matter who starts under center, the offense will revolve around running back LeSean McCoy. With the clock constantly moving, the under should be a good bet to cash this weekend in Buffalo.
