Is the under a good bet on Thursday night when the Vikings host the Cowboys at 8:25PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cowboys are now 3.5-point road favorites versus the Vikings after opening as a 2.5-point favorite on Sunday night. As for the total, the number hit the board at 43.5 and that’s where it currently sits at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.
The Cowboys improved to 10-1 on the year with a 31-26 victory over the Redskins on Thanksgiving Day. It was, however, the first time that Dallas failed to cover the spread since Week 1 when the team lost 20-19 to the Giants as a 1-point home favorite. The Cowboys are now 9-2 against the spread and remain in first place, two wins ahead of the second-place Giants.
The Vikings beat the Cardinals 30-24 two weeks ago but otherwise have been in a free fall since starting the season 5-0. With their 16-13 loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving Day, Minnesota is now 6-5 overall and relinquished first place in the NFC North with that loss to Detroit. The team is also 6-5 against the spread, although the Vikings have failed to cover in five of their last six games overall.

The under is also 20-7 in Minnesota’s last 27 games versus NFC opponents, is 20-8-1 in its last 29 games overall and is 9-2 in its last 11 games coming off an ATS loss. On the other side, the under is 4-0 in the Cowboys’ last four games in December, is 8-2 in their last 10 road games and are 10-3 in their last 13 games following an ATS loss.
