According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Broncos are the clear favorite at home in this game, as Denver is getting odds of -7.5 points against the Steelers. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 41 points. These two meet today at 4:40PM ET on CBS.
Denver is 12-4 on the season, 6-2 at home and 8-8 against the spread. Pittsburgh is 11-6 overall, 5-4 on the road and 9-6-2 against the spread. Pittsburgh does own a 34-17 win over the Broncos at home back on Dec. 20. The home team has won three straight in this series while the Broncos are 5-1 against the spread in the last six against the Steelers.
Ben Roethlisberger will give it a go for Pittsburgh. Even though it’s without Antonio Brown, they still have Martavis Bryant, Heath Miller, Markus Wheaton, Darrius Heyward-Bey and a defense that stops the run. Peyton Manning has been struggling all season with consistency and the Broncos need to run to be successful. They’ll have to throw it more and that’s not a good thing nowadays.
