The Falcons opened as a 3.5-point favorite but the line was bumped up, while the total went from 49 up to 52, which is where it currently sits.

SEATTLE KEY TRENDS: The Seahawks are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five playoff games despite covering last weekend against the Lions. They’re also just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game and are 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game.

ATLANTA KEY TRENDS: The Falcons are 4-1 against the spread in their last five conference games but are just 4-10 against the number in their last 14 home games. They’re also 1-5 against the spread in their last six home playoff games, are 0-6 against the number in their last six playoff games overall, and have failed to cover in four of their last five Divisional round postseason contests.

OUR PREDICTION: The Seahawks found their running game last weekend versus the Lions, as Thomas Ralws rushed for 161 yards in the victory. If they can come close to running the ball as well today as they did last week then this game will come down to the wire. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones will have some success attacking Seattle’s Earl Thomas-less secondary, but Russell Wilson should also move the ball against Atlanta’s suspect defense. The Falcons are explosive, but they also have trouble closing games out because of their defense. This game comes down to a field goal.
