Tom Brady completed 21-of-35 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns, while Stevan Ridley rushed 18 times for 72 yards and a score. Brandon Lloyd, meanwhile, caught seven passes for 89 yards with one touchdown while Donte Stallworth caught seven passes for 89 yards with one score and Aaron Hernandez had two touchdown receptions. New England had an outstanding season, finishing with a 12-4 overall record and a 9-7 record against the spread. With the Texans’ Week 17 loss to the Colts, the Patriots secured home field advantage in the Divisional Round and a first-round bye.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Patriots are 9.5-point favorites versus the Texans while the over/under total is currently sitting at 48.5 points. The Patriots opened as 9-point favorites and the total opened at 49.
