Larmey Tunsil NFL Draft Prediction
Once considered the top prospect in this year’s class, how far will Larmey Tunsil fall in the first round of tonight’s 2016 NFL Draft?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.ag, the over/under for which pick Tunsil will be selected is sitting at 4.5. That means if you believe he’ll be selected within the first four picks, you would bet the under, and if you think he’ll last longer than pick No. 4, then you would play the over.
Earlier this month NFL executives and draft observers alike all thought Tunsil will be selected with the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft. But that was when the Tennessee Titans still owned the selection. After the Titans traded the pick to the Rams for a massive pick haul, Tunsil is expected to fall past at least the first two selections tonight.

The reason for that is because the Rams and Eagles (who also traded into the top 5 when they made a deal with the Browns), are both expected to take quarterbacks. Complicating the issue is that Tunsil is being sued by his stepfather for an alleged assault that happened last June. That said, teams were already well aware of the incident when they spoke with the left tackle in pre-draft meetings.
OUR PREDICTION: The “over 4.5” has the most value and here’s why: Tunsil won’t be taken with one of the first two picks. This much we know. What we don’t know is if the Chargers will nab him at No. 3 but chances are they’ll take FSU defensive back Jalen Rasmey. Neither the Cowboys nor the Jaguars have a need at left tackle so Tunsil could wind up sliding all the way to the Ravens, if not further. Once considered a near-lock to go No. 1, Tunsil figures to fall at least past the Cowboys at No. 4, giving bettors reason to take the over tonight on this prop odd.
