Week 14 of the NFL season concludes tonight when the New England Patriots host the Baltimore Ravens at 8:30PM ET.

According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Patriots are the clear favorite in this game, as they are getting odds of -6.5 points against the Ravens. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 45 points. The Patriots have won two straight against the Ravens, but Baltimore is 4-2-1 against the spread in the last seven meetings with New England. These two have hit the over in three of their last four encounters.

The Patriots have a chance to separate themselves from the rest of the AFC pack with a win as the Raiders and Chiefs both sit at 10-3 on the year. New England has won three straight to get to 10-2 on the season and they are 9-3 against the spread while hitting the under in 8 of their 12 games. The Pats have a defense that has been locked in, as they are giving up just 17.3 points and 351.4 yards per game. They are holding opposing run games under 95 yards per contest. The unit has 26 sacks while forcing 13 turnovers. Patrick Chung has 73 tackles, one interception and one sack to lead the group. Offensively, New England is putting up 26.6 points and 397.8 yards per game. Tom Brady has thrown for 2,470 yards and 19 touchdowns with only one interception. He is without his top guy in Rob Gronkowski for the rest of the season because of a back injury, but Brady does have a steady run game for a change behind LeGarrette Blount, who has run for 957 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The Ravens have won two straight and four of their last five to get back into the AFC North mix. They are 7-5 on the season and can be tied with the Steelers for first in the division with a win tonight. Baltimore is 6-6 against the spread this year and 7-4-1 with the under. Baltimore has a tremendous defense, allowing just 17.3 points and 312.7 yards per game. They give up only 73.8 rushing yards per game, which ranks tops in the NFL. They also rank seventh in passing defense, giving up only 238.8 yards per game. They have 28 sacks and 22 turnovers created this year. Terrell Suggs has eight sacks and 26 tackles while Eric Weddle and C.J. Mosley each have three interceptions. Offensively, Baltimore could be better. The Ravens average just 21.3 points and 362.3 yards per game. They lack much of a run game, averaging just 89.7 yards per contest. Joe Flacco had a breakout game in last week’s win, but has thrown for just 3,258 yards with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this year. Mike Wallace has been the leading receiver with 57 catches for 851 yards and four touchdowns.
