Week 7 of the NFL season wraps up tonight when the Denver Broncos host the Houston Texans at 8:30PM ET on ESPN. Here’s a look at the latest odds for the game.

According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Broncos are favored at home in this game, as Denver is getting odds of -8 points against the Texans. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 40.5 points. The road team has won and covered the spread in the last two meetings between these two. They are 3-1-1 with the under in their five all-time meetings.

Bet on Texans vs. Broncos

Houston is coming off a 26-23 OT win at home over the Colts. The Texans are now 4-2 on the season overall and 3-2-1 against the spread. They are 0-2 on the road, however, and 0-2 against the spread in those two games, being outscored 58-13. The big story of the game is Houston QB Brock Osweiler making his return to Denver to lead the Texans. Osweiler left the Broncos after looking like the clear replacement for Peyton Manning following his retirement. Instead, he took a multi-year deal with Houston and has struggled this year, throwing for 1,402 yards with 8 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He also has completed just 59 percent of his passes. It’s a big reason why Houston is averaging just 18 points and 344.8 yards per game this season. Lamar Miller has led the offense with 520 rushing yards and a TD in his first season with Houston as well. On defense, Houston has been pretty solid, holding opponents to just 21.2 points and 331.3 yards per game, including only 205 passing yards per contest. Even without J.J. Watt the defense has 16 sacks this season.

After a 4-0 start to the season, Denver has lost back-to-back games, including a 21-13 loss to the Chargers last week. They are now 4-2 overall and 4-2 against the spread. Like Houston, Denver relies heavily on its defense. The Broncos are allowing just 18 points and 316.2 yards per game. They also are strong against the pass, giving up only 203.5 yards per game in the air. The unit has created 11 turnovers in 2016 and has racked up 21 sacks. Von Miller has followed up his new contract with 7.5 sacks thus far. Offensively, Denver has been held to 29 points over the last two weeks, dropping their season averages to 23.3 points and 339.7 yards per game. Trevor Siemian has played in five games this year, throwing for 1,054 yards and seven touchdowns. C.J. Anderson is the leading rusher with 330 yards and three touchdowns, but the entire run game for Denver has just 591 yards over six games. Making matters worse for the offense is that tackles Russell Okung and Donald Stephenson are both listed as questionable due to concussion-like symptoms.
