OUR PREDICTION: Despite the above trends favoring the Redskins, this point spread seems too high. The Panthers are having a horrible season in contrast to their Super Bowl run a year ago but they’re still competitive. They beat the Chargers last week at home and with Josh Norman on the other side tonight, Cam Newton and Co. should be motivated tonight as well. The Panthers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games in D.C., while the underdog has cashed in nine of the last 11 meetings between these two tams and the road team is 8-3 against the number in the last 11 meetings.
