Raiders vs. Chargers NFL Odds
SAN DIEGO, CA (The Spread) – Thursday night football begins this week on the NFL Network with a matchup between AFC West rivals Oakland and San Diego.
OAKLAND: The Raiders’ 4-2 start must seem like a distant memory for players and coaches. Following two-straight losses to divisional rivals, Oakland is now 4-4 on the year and in a three-way tie with Kansas City and San Diego in the AFC West. More so, the Raiders are now 0-2 since giving up multiple picks to acquire Carson Palmer from Cincinnati. While Palmer did throw three touchdown passes in Oakland’s 38-24 loss to the Broncos in Week 9, he also tossed a trio of interceptions as his decision making has come into question. Hopefully star running back Darren McFadden won’t miss more time with a foot injury that kept him out against Denver.
SAN DIEGO: Much like the Raiders, the Chargers are reeling at the moment. Following three straight wins to reach 4-1, San Diego has dropped its last three games, including a 45-38 decision to Green Bay in Week 9. Philip Rivers threw for four touchdowns in the loss, but he also added to his interception total by tossing three more picks (that now makes it 14 in eight games). The Chargers are now 4-4 but their saving grace is that neither the Chiefs nor the Raiders look like they want to win the AFC West either. The division remains up for grabs so if the Bolts can win tonight, maybe they’ll start to right the ship.

The under is 12-3-1 in the last 16 games between the Raiders and Chargers in San Diego, and 7-1 in the Bolts’ last eight home games.
