Giants, Umenyiora agree to deal
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – The Super Bowl-champion New York Giants and two-time Pro Bowl defensive end Osi Umenyiora have agreed to a new contract.
The Giants announced late Friday afternoon that a restructured contract with Umenyiora has been met, ending a feud between the veteran and New York general manager Jerry Reese. Terms of the deal were not immediately available.

Umenyiora has contended for more than a year that Reese promised to renegotiate his contract and then reneged on the offer.
Umenyiora has not participated in the team’s drills thus far this spring. He is the second prominent defensive player to sign a new contract this offseason, joining Mathias Kiwanuka.
