49ers vs. Rams Odds
Two NFC West foes meet up this Sunday when the St. Louis Rams host the San Francisco 49ers at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, St. Louis is favored at home, as the Rams are getting odds of -8 points against the 49ers. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 39.5 points. San Francisco has won and covered the spread in three of its last four meetings with the Rams.
St. Louis is 3-3 on the season, 3-3 against the spread and 4-2 with the under. The Rams are coming off a 24-6 win over the Browns last week in what was their best showing of the season. The Rams struggle on offense, ranking 31st in scoring (18 ppg) and yards (298.8 ypg), but they have a defense that holds opponents to just 19.8 points and 351.3 yards per game. Rookie Todd Gurley has rushed for 442 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense while Nick Foles has 1,119 passing yards and six touchdowns. The defense is led by Aaron Donald, who has 26 tackles with 4.5 sacks.
San Francisco is 2-5 overall, 3-4 against the spread and 4-3 with the over. The 49ers are coming off a 20-3 loss to the Seahawks last Thursday. Four of their five losses this season have been by double digits. San Francisco is last in the NFL in points (14.7 ppg) and yards (295.6 ypg) while the defense is 31st in yards allowed (406 pg). Colin Kaepernick has thrown for 1,453 yards and six touchdowns to lead the offense, but he also has five interceptions. Carlos Hyde has rushed for 470 yards and three scores while the defense is led by Aaron Lynch, who has 22 tackles and five sacks.
