Broncos vs. Dolphins NFL Week 7 Odds
(The Spread) – Tim Tebow will make his 2011 starting debut when the Broncos travel to Miami to play the winless Dolphins.
DENVER: After five games, John Fox and the Denver coaching staff has finally seen enough of Kyle Orton. Tim Tebow is now the man under center for the Broncos, who have fallen to 1-4 on the year and 1-4 against the spread. Tebow will try to breathe some life into a last-place team that is seemingly headed for another top 5 pick next April.
MIAMI: The Broncos may be a small disaster at 1-4 but at least they still have a victory to show for their efforts through six weeks. The Dolphins, on the other hand, are now 0-5 after losing on Monday night to the Jets. Whether it’s Chad Henne or Matt Moore under center, Miami has struggled scoring all season. The under is 4-1 in the Dolphins’ first five games as Miami has yet to cover the spread in 2011.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Dolphins as a 1-point favorite but with the public siding with Tebow and the Broncos, don’t be surprised if the spread drops to a pick’em leading up to kickoff. The over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 42.5 points.
TRENDS: The Broncos are 0-6 against the spread in their last six games against the Dolphins but the underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings between these two teams. Miami is 0-6-1 ATS in its last seven games versus the AFC and 0-4 ATS versus a team with a losing record. Denver is 0-6 ATS in its last six games in October and 0-4 ATS in it last four games following a straight up loss.
